Michelle Prince is a certified wine consultant, solopreneur, small business owner, world traveler, freelance writer, author, museum docent, art history educator, and military history enthusiast. Michelle holds a BA in History and Political Science.  She also studied Art History and is a certified docent in the Reston Historical Society in Reston, VA, the Women's National Gallery of Art in Washington DC and the Chrysler Museum of Fine Arts in Norfolk, VA.

Over the past 20 years, Michelle has lived and traveled extensively throughout western Europe. For the past 10 years she has lived in northern Italy, Sicily, Japan, Germany, and Australia, delving deep into the Wine Travel Food & Art experience these places have to offer.

• Extensive Italian wine knowledge. Michelle lived on the Mount Etna Wine Trail in Sicily for a year and the Veneto wine region for almost 3 years. She delved deep into a vast majority of the Italian wine regions, sub-regions, appellations, and wine trails, tasting and learning what they have to offer and what makes them uniquely distinct. She attended Italy wine expos, festivals, Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti (FIVI – Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers), and Vinitaly.
  
• French wine knowledge. While living in Germany and Italy, Michelle spent a lot of time visiting the Alsace, Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Champagne, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Provence, Rhone Valley, and Savoie wine regions exploring, tasting and learning. She attended the SALON DES VINS DES VIGNERONS INDÉPENDANTS Strasbourg wine fair of over 600 independent french winemakers 3 years in a row, as well the Bordeaux Fête le Vin 2018 Tall Ship Regatta Wine Festival.
  

• Tour guide for the vineyards and wineries on the Virginia and Maryland Wine Trails leading wine tasting event tours.
• Independent Wine Consultant to Gallo Wine Distributors, AAFES, Total Wine, Vino301, Flow Wine Group, Vittomino, and Traveling Vineyards. Michelle planned, delivered and oversaw wine tasting sales events.
• Artistic creator for handcrafted whimsical wine accessories selling them at Wine Festivals and local specialty shops.
  
• Created and grew the Vicenza Cork Poppers Wine Club to over 500 members, including wineries across the Veneto wine region. The club went to Valpolicella, Soave, Prosecco, and some lesser known wine regions to tour, taste, learn and purchase.
  
• Other services Michelle has delivered include: private parties, personal one-on-one wine education, and customized wine tasting events for private customers.
